Kosovo's incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has talked about sharing means for financial assistance in the amount of 500 thousand euros for majority Albanian municipalities, Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc.
Kurti said they are aware that the situation with COVID-19 has increased enormous needs in terms of medical equipment and that the budget, which has initially been set aside for the health share, is low for many institutions, but with this help, has been achieved to provide little assistance to these municipalities.
He said these payments were carried out on April 27th, from the Treasury Account to the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo through the Creespoden bank “Deutsche Bank AG” in the accounts of these three municipalities.
The Kosovo government has divided them:
200 thousand euros for Presevo;
200 thousand euros for Bujanovac; and
One hundred thousand euros for Medvedja.
