Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, on April 27th- Day of the Unfinders, has warned there will be no amnesty for crimes committed by Serbs during the Kosovo war.
He in a Facebook post has written that dawning the fate of missing persons during the last war will be the first issue in the upcoming Kosovo dialogue Serbia.
There is no amnesty, but only justice. Because... we're all missing”, Kurt wrote.

The anniversary of the Meya Massacre, where 376 Albanians were killed and disappeared, but also the Day of Missing Persons, proclaimed in honour of the victims of the Meja massacre and all the missing as a result of the war in Kosovo, reminds us that we have many open wounds.
Currently, there are 1641 missing persons. There are families of 1641 who continue to live in the anxiety of waiting, 1641 whose suffering has taken a long time for more than two decades. Children, now adults and waiting for an answer. Elders who have no knowledge of the fate and whereabouts of their heirs.
Time is said to heal wounds, but it fails in the families of the missing. Time only deepens wounds, fades hope, and makes the family suffer.
It is not possible to build the future without properly closing the past. We have the obligation to do everything we can to cut the path of this missing justice, making the issue of missing people as first issues in the upcoming Kosovo dialogue Serbia.
No amnesty, just justice.
Because... we all miss you!
