The non-governmental organisation “Integre” in co-operation with other NGOs, through a media communique, has invited all Kosovo citizens since April 27th, to turn off lights in their homes for two minutes, to mark the national day of missing persons from the last war in Kosovo.
With 2 minutes of darkness in our families, we will be able to interact with the pain and darkness in which the family of 1,644 people are still found for 20 years now.
That 20 years of family members are looking for and hoping for the fate of their loved ones. They have been waiting for 20 years to learn the truth but also for justice over the crimes committed against their families.
Since 20 years of Kosovo family members and society face institutional neglect to clear up the issue of missing persons. Therefore, even on this day, like any other day, we will not forget”, says their communiqué
