Kim Jong is believed to be seriously ill

News of North Korean leader Kim Jong, that he is seriously ill after heart surgery is not true, officials in South Korea said.

The headlines that Kim Jong was “seriously ill”, “died brain” or “was being cured by an operation” were always impossible to verify, Kosovo reports.

But the presidential office in Seoul has said there have been no separate signs from the North to show that the 36-year-old is the seriously ill “”.

It is also not the first time that words about his health have prompted much speculation to be dismissed later.

When did speculation begin?

Kim Jong recently did not attend his grandfather's birthday celebration on April 15th. This is one of the greatest events of the year, marking the birth of the nation's founder.

Kim Jong never missed that party and it seemed very difficult that he would just choose not to appear.

Inevitably, his absence prompted speculation and gossip, none of which is easy to prove.

Kim Jong recently appeared in state media on 12 April “inspecting a group attack”. As always, images portrayed him as quiet.

It is also known that he chaired a key political meeting the day before by state media tables. But he hasn't been seen since.
