But what are the world's most ignorant places?

The answer to this question can be found in a 2017 study that revealed that a vast number of people in wealthy countries in the world were ignorant of many subjects, writes Independent, translated Periscope.

The Perils of Percepto research by Ipsos Mori praised the knowledge of 29 thousand of 133 people in the world.

The topics included murder and suicide rates, death as a result of terrorism, teen pregnancy, inmates from foreign countries, and health problems such as vaccines and diabetes.

The results showed that people in nearly all 38 states that participated in the study were ignorant of the topics mentioned, but some of these states were even worse than others.

Scandinavian countries as expected were on top of the list, with Sweden first, followed by Denmark and Norway.

At the end of the rankings were countries like the Philippines, Brazil, and South America.

Unfortunately, Serbia also had a good ranking as one of the wisest nations participating in the study. /Periscope
