Germany on Monday will take the first step towards lifting restrictions due to the pandemic. First small shops will be opened, including shops for selling clothes. This decision came after politicians said the Coronavirus is under control.
Most shops that are smaller than 800 square metres will have the opportunity to welcome buyers again after a month of isolation. This is the first phase of the reduction in measures taken against the spread of the coronary, writes the Guardian”.
Chancellor Angela Merkel and state governors last week announced the reopening of businesses, but they did so carefully, warning that the decision is only a small step, which should be delivered with vigilance.
Although shops will be opened in all German states, each of them is expected to implement measures in a long run with minor changes. For example, the measures in Berlin are expected to leave at a slightly slower pace.
Germany is one of the most affected countries in Europe but also one of those who have reacted earlier. Until Sunday, an estimated 140 thousand infected and 4,294 dead were registered in this country.
