The German company BioNTech working with the American pharmaceutical giant Pfizer has launched human tests of a possible vaccine against Covid-19 that could supply millions by the end of the year, according to two firms.

Mainz-based BioNTech reported that in the first group of participants were given doses of the possible vaccine, BNT162, in a clinical study of Faza 1/2 in Germany.
