Figures confirm the epidemic is easing, although caution is required, as weekend figures are often underrated.
In total France has registered 22 614 victims, 1450 in hospitals and 8564 in homes of elderly people and similar institutions.
The number of patients laid out in intensive care suffered a drop to 4725, 145 less than Friday.
