A serious syndrome, so far unknown and attributed to the coronary, seems to be spreading to children.
There have been few cases, but enough to raise the alarm in the hospitals of Great Britain.
By “T GCOM”, the alarm was launched by the medical journal Health Service after some children were hospitalised in intensive care because of an inflammatory state of blood vessels. Symptoms that seem to have something to do with COVID-19.
The “in the last three weeks, throughout London and also in other regions of the United Kingdom, has seen an apparent increase in the number of children of all ages with a multi-system inflammatory state, requiring intensive care”, the medical magazine says.
It's a new symptom that has generated “growth rate” among those who fear that “may have an infectious pathogen, yet unidentified, associated with these cases”.
So far there is little data available, both in terms of symptomsology and intensification of inflammation: some of the few hospital-based children have tested positively for David-19, others seem to have contracted it in the past and others have not yet.
Children are always considered low in risk of coronary and, for this reason, the Intensiv Paddy Care Association has now appealed to <x0 doctors who report cases similar to maximum urgency”.
