“Earth Day” this year without any activity

So for the first time, concern over environmental problems arose. A two-hour parade took place on New York's Fifth Avenue.

In this case, over 10 million American school students were given special lessons on the environment, emphasising the importance of environmental protection; and the U.S. Congress suspended their work so that its members could participate in activities organized in the respective states on Earth Day.

That same day, about 10,000 people gathered on the lawn in front of Washington's Monument to the U.S. capital to call on the government to take stronger steps towards environmental protection. Since 1970, when Earth Day first began to be celebrated, it continues to be celebrated each year in various parts of the world with various activities.

The Environment Protection Movement is supported by people from all walks of life - teachers, students, artists, politicians and ordinary citizens.

What began in 1979 as just a movement to protect water, air, and other natural resources has now expanded and has taken on the size of a general belt, which is supported by all.

But unlike past years when, in honor of this day, we organized various sensitive activities, this year because of the COVIDD-19 pandemic, there will be no activity.
