The National Democratic Committee of the United States (DNC) will postpone the candidate nomination congress for the upcoming election from July to August due to the coronary pandemic, DNC officials said Thursday.
The congress will be held on 17 August in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, about a week before the Republican Party's nominal congress.
This decision on postponement comes only days after former vice president and potential candidate Joe Biden called for the convention to be moved because of the coronary pandemic.
