While in addition to the two victims, two new cases of COVIID-19 have emerged, and four more patients have recovered, epidemiologist Aleksandar Antonijevic has announced at a news conference, reports Kossev.info.
One person passed away at the Clinical Centre in Kragujevac, while the other person was being treated in a centre in northern Mitrovica, and in the evening hours when it was tested positive with COVID-19.
The two new cases with COVID-19 are from one of the North Mitrovica municipality and one from Leposaviqi. So far there are 96 people affected by COVID-19 in these municipalities, while 47 persons have recovered, and eight victims have been recorded.
A total of 41 patients or active cases with COVID-19, of which 26 light - symptoms patients are being treated at the Student Centre in North Mitrovica.
In the morning, 40 samples were sent for testing, results are expected to come late in the evening, while another 40 samples are planned to be sent for testing during the day.
Since March 13th, when the first cases with COVID-19 have appeared in Kosovo, 780 cases have been confirmed so far.
Of these cases, 201 patients have been completely cured, while 22 victims have been identified.
So Kosovo currently has 557 active cases with COVID-19 who are in the process of medical treatment.
Out of the 38 municipalities in Kosovo, only 9 municipalities still do not have positive cases with COVID-19. The unscathed municipalities from the virus are South Mitrovica, Mamusa, Yunik, Shrpca, Gracanica, Klokoti, Raniluku and Novoberda.
