Various organizations aimed at protecting dogs each year organise activities and actions to feed stray dogs, but the situation appears this year worldwide because of the COVID-19 situation.
Organisations complain that institutions are not caring for animals, rather they claim institutions are killing them.
In Kosovo there are very few organisations dealing with the care and protection of animals. All of this as a consequence of the small budget the organisations have, writes Kosova Preris.
Each year organizations demand that stray dogs be protected through sterilization and shelters.
April 4th as the International Day of the Eddacak Dogs, started in 2010 at the initiative of several Dutch organisations, but then the day is manifested in 15 or 20 major European states.
This year, because of the pandemic of COVID-19, organizations pray to all people to allow food for stray dogs, as food supplies are very difficult at this time.
