Kosovo's National Public Health Institute has indicated that five new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Kosovo.
The positive “Rests are contact cases, three (3) of which are residential in Banja-Malishevo, a (1) residential in Gjakova, a (1) located in Smreconica-Wushrri”.

Today in 05.04.2020 at the IKSHPK Medieval Microbiology Laboratory with RT- The PCR, 93 samples taken from hospitalised cases at the Infective Clinic and from tracking field-sequential contacts. Of the samples taken for testing the SARS-CoV-2 virus, five (5) of them have resulted in positive.
Positive cases are contact cases, three (3) of which are settled in Banja-Malishev, a (1) residential in Gjakova, a (1) with residence in Smreconica-Vusherri.
From the date 08.02,2020 to 05.04,20, at the Medieval Microbiology Laboratory in IKSHPK with the RT- The PCR, a total of 1,964 suspicious samples have been tested in the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and of them, positive results in a total of 145 cases with one case of death of an 82-year-old.
In the IKSHPK in a continuous 24-hour period is being contacted and monitored by all case contacts, as well as contact contacts being forced to self-insult and seek medical assistance if they have symptoms. So far they've been contacted and under surveillance 3,137 contact cases.
Globally, between December 31, 2019 and April 5, 2020, a total of 1,244,391 cases of COVID-19 and 67,856 cases of death have been reported. The largest number of cases are reported by the US (323,065), Spain (130.75), Italy (128,948), Germany (98.737), France (89.953), China (81.669), Iran (58,226), United Kingdom (47.806), Turkey (23.934), Switzerland (21, Belgium (19.691), Netherlands (17.851), Canada (14.426), Austria (11.73), Greece (1.7535), Serbia (1.935), Croatia (1.18), Slovenia (99), northern Macedonia (95), and Montenegro (236).
By April 5th 2020, from EU countries/ AEE and United Kingdom are reported these cases of death: Italy (15.887), Spain (12.418), France (7.560), United Kingdom (4.934), Netherlands (1.766), Germany (1.753), Belgium (1.447), Switzerland (6.85), Turkey (501), Austria (204), Denmark (179), Poland (94), Serbia (73), Hungary (34), Luxembourg (36), Slovenia (28), Albania (20), Macedonia and northern (18), Croatia (15) and Montenegro (2).
