Coronavius in Albania, only 6 new cases in the last 24 hours

The director of the Institute of Public Care Health, Silva Bino, in modern communication said that 2753 suspected cases have been tested so far, while 22 citizens have lost their lives.

“in the last 24 hours have been identified as 182 suspected people with COVIDD-19 who were reported by medical emergencies, family doctor and local health care units. Of these, six have proved positive. 4 are located in Tirana, one in Elbasan and one in Korca. This brings the tested number 2753 suspected cases and are confirmed positive with COVID-19, 383 cases. The battle with the disease has so far been lost by 22 citizens, who had serious forms of disease and other associated diseases. Over the past 24 hours, 15 other patients have been added to the list of cures, bringing the number of cures from COVID-19 to 131”, Bino said.

She stated that there are 67 in effective service currently paved where 5 of them are in intensive therapy. At COVIDD 2 “Shefqet Ndkoqi” in Tirana are 7 patients laid down in all. Six patients are in intensive therapy, while three patients are assembled. In the two hospitals, COVID currently said 74 patients are receiving service.

Also, a significant decrease in the number of cases affected by COVID-19 was said to indicate that the epidemiological investigation and tracking of new cases or their contacts has worked properly and was conducted according to specified protocols.

Bino urged citizens to continue to respect social distance measures, since as figures of the last few days show, where there are cases within the same family, it is important that the infection control measures be fully respected even within family circles by avoiding visits to relatives for any reason to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.

I would like to stress that so far we have several centres that we have identified in Tirana, Korca, Elbasan, Shkodra, Durres, but that is mostly family centres, even because of the social distance and physical distance measures that have been taken so far. What's important is that citizens have to enforce the rules, so that even places within the family, so those family visits, or going to mortar cases, or other elements of joy, birthday, etc., we're at a pandemic time and we have to follow all the rules and even the family grounds that we don't have until now. In this way we help all society to soften not only the cure of the disease but also the spectre of the disease so that we can start the normal” life, Bino said.

As for the map of the affected, the geographical distribution is Tirana with 181 cases, Durres with 38 cases, Lusnja with five cases, Elbasan 11 cases, Fieri 26 cases, Cavaja 8 cases, Rogozhina 4 cases, Korca 17 cases, Vlora 5 cases, Shkodra 44 cases, Lezha 14 cases, Berat 2 cases, Has 12 cases, Kruja 5 cases, Tropto 4 cases, Puka 4 cases and Mirdet 3 cases.
