In Albania, nine new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded as it went to 409 the number of affected. Also, 11 healers have been reported in the last 24 hours, and a total of the cured are 165 patients.
Dr. Rowena Daya from the Institute of Public Health said that work on the ground is continuing to identify new cases and tracking cases, positively confirmed contacts and that 234 suspected persons have been tested in the last 24 hours.
It also stated 53% of positive persons with COVID-19 in Albania are males.
“in the last 24 hours has tested 234 people suspected of having confirmed nine new cases with COVID-19. So far, 3223 suspected cases have been tested, and there are positive confirmed cases of COVID-19, 409 cases. 53% of positive people with COVID-19 are males in Albania. Battle with this disease has so far lost 22 citizens, despite extraordinary efforts of health personnel. Over the past 24 hours, 11 other patients have been added to the list of cures, bringing the number of cures from COVID-19 to 165”, Daya said.
Currently, 52 are available. Five of them are in intensive therapy. At COVIDD 2 “Shefqet Ndkoqi” are 6 patients who are completely laid down. Five patients are in intensive therapy, four of which are assembled. 58 patients are currently receiving service in two hospitals.
