In the country's north over the past 24 hours, five people with COVID-19 have also been confirmed positive, while four persons have been healed.
The epidemiologist Aleksandar Antonijevic has made this known during the crisis headquarters media conference that was held today in northern Mitrovica.
He said the three infected persons are from the northern municipality of Mitrovica, while the other two infected are from the municipality of Leposaviqi and Zvecan.
According to him, in northern Kosovo so far they have been confirmed with COVID-19 total 102 people, have healed 56, while 8 people have died.
Over the last 24 hours, five infected persons -- three from Mitrovica -- have been registered, and by one person from Zvecani and Leposaviqi. Four people have recovered, until one after the re-test has confirmed the positive outcome. A total of 995 people have been tested yesterday, of which we have 102 infected, 56 healed, and unfortunately 8 people have died”, Antoniyevic said, reports kp.
He appealed to citizens who rigorously adhere to recommended measures, especially on the eve of May holidays, not leave their homes unnecessarily, keep their distance, and carry protective equipment.
