The situation with COVIID-19 has upset the business community, while the country's economic Comedies call for more attention to this community to help overcome the situation as easily as possible.
In a difficult position, there is no doubt the construction company “CIMA Construction”, whose owner, Arsim Kabashi, told Kosova Preress that their work has been completely banned.
According to Kabashi, construction has not escaped this situation and is most affected by the current situation due to the global pandemic, Covid-19. He says they have been forced to send workers home, while a decision will also be made about their salaries.
“We've been forced to interrupt all jobs, we've suggested that all workers stay home according to government and health guidelines. As to wages, we will see how long this state of emergency is going on until we return to normal life and work, then together with the Construction Association and other institutions we will decide how we will pay our salaries, but of course if we can pay all of us without stopping”, Kabashi said.
He said the damage is too much for business, as much work must be done within the set deadlines. Kabashi did not mention a precise figure, but added that the cost of loss is increasing from day to day.
“Normale that the damages are too big for our business as well as other businesses, the damage is huge at the timeline, as many jobs have to be done with certain deadlines, but and economically will affect a lot in the negative direction, at the moment not known exactly how many exact numbers the loss will be, depending on how close we will be to the epidemic and increase the cost of economic loss, but also the remaining <x1, he came.
“owner CIMA Construction”, Arsim Kabashi, was asked about the Kosovo Government's emergency fiscal package, which it declared is little but added that budgetary capacities might not allow a larger amount.
As for big businesses like his own, Kabashi said they are not even involved in this package.
We have not been touched by this fiscal package of government to help Kosovo businesses, as this package is dedicated only to small and medium-sized businesses and we are in the category of big businesses. I think this fiscal package is very small that no major businesses and many other categories have been affected, but on the other hand according to Kosovo's budget, I can say that perhaps the wind has been able to separate more”, Kabashi concluded.
Otherwise, with the decision to keep business north in Kosovo is under obligation due to measures to prevent the spread of the coronary virus in our country.
