A soldier of the Austrian peacekeeping contingent within KFOR troops in Kosovo has proved positively to Covid 19.
Defence Ministry spokesman Michael Bauer announced on Sunday that case, writes “rone Zeitung”, accompanying “Albinfo Austria”.
“In the Austrian contingent, is a sick person”, Bauer said. He will be brought from Kosovo to Austria on Tuesday or Wednesday.
The spokesman Bauer has confirmed this case, as KFOR yesterday through a statement announced the deaths of two civil servants and the infection of several KFOR soldiers.
“due to home soldier is a <x1-2> precautionary measure because medical care is better in Austria than in Kosovo”, Bauer said.
The Austrian contingent of KFOR in Kosovo is comprised of 300 soldiers. Defence Ministry spokesman Michael Bauer has denied to show whether all Austrian soldiers have been tested for the Coronobrus.
He has said that the important thing is that anyone who has had contact with the infected is in quarantine.
On the other hand, according to the media in Kosovo, one of the civilians who died was said to be a 70-year-old from Kosovo. He was employed in an American Army camp east of the country.
