The head of the local Education Commission in Shanghai announced that public education institutions, closed on April 27th, would be opened as a measure to prevent the spread of the coronary pandemic.
Lou Jing announced that the first to begin learning was the last years of elementary and high school.
According to him, schools were to be prepared with all the means needed for the full opening before May 6, and each one would be given a special date on which to start teaching.
