US ambassadors to Pristina and Belgrade have talked today about the benefits of co-operation between Kosovo and Serbia in the fight against spreading COVID-19 pandemic.
In a joint message on Facebook to ambassadors Philip Costnett and Anthonyfrey have called the co-operation of Kosovo and Serbia encouraging as neighbouring countries in the fight against Coronavirus.
It is encouraging to see the health ministers co-operate as neighbours to serve and protect all communities in Kosovo and Serbia. We support efforts to keep the citizens of Kosovo and Serbia safe. We all do our part to fight the virus. Together we can fight COVID-19”, Ambassador Costett said.
US Ambassador to Belgrade Anthony Godfrey has said that Belgrade and Pristina have been working concretely and practically to save lives during pandemic, exchange of expertise and equipment.
“We hope that these measures will show a necessary co-operation. We can save lives only if we work together”, has orderedfrey thanks to Italy's Ambassador to Pristina, Nicolae Orlando, for facilitating communication in a video conference between Kosovo Health Minister Arben Vitita and his Serbian counterpart, Zlatko Loncar.
