MPBAP Minister Jedal Svecla's task force, the afternoon watch, has made a decision to dismiss Kosovo Police Inspectorate Chief Executive Chief Miradije Kelmendi from office.

Instead of Kelmendi as KALLXO.com has been named IPK Chief Chief Officer Erzhevit Zuka.

Zuka is the leader of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate Division for Planning and Legal Affairs.

Under the Law for the Kosovo Police Inspectorate, Article 15 points are most clearly stated that “in the cases of the end of the mandate, the dismissal or suspension of the IPK Executive Chief, the minister immediately appoints one of the IPK department directors, as the task leader of the executive chief until the selection of the IPC Chief Executive Leader<18x1>.

Zuka in this case has been appointed illegal because the same is not the director of the division but the leader of the division, that is, a position lower than the director.

KA LLXO.com has requested clarification by the acting minister of Internal Affairs about the appointment that turns out to be contrary to the IPK Law.

Until the publication of this scripture, neither the Bureau for Information, nor the Assistant and Minister of the MPB, KALLXO.com didn't get answers.

Minister Svechla has been on the phone.

The Kosovo Police Inspectorate works with the Chief Executive Chief at the helm, five departments and 17 divisions.

KA LLXO.com today reported on Kelmendi's dismissal by the IPK Director. The latter has said the decision to appoint Zuka is illegal.

The “on behalf of putting the law in place, the very authority that has dismissed me, has illegally appointed a task manager who is not the director, the situation which is regulated by the Kosovo Police Inspectorate Law. I will present the case to the Court for the realisation of my rights and am convinced that justice will come to the country”, Kelmendi said.

MPBAP Minister Svecla's U.D. has said that Kelmendi was fired after tests of the findings from two reports: Report with recommendations for law enforcement oversight for The IPK, drafted by the Commission for Internal Affairs, Security and Supervision of the Kosovo Security Force; and the Investigation Report for the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 2018. I have also taken into account a letter of recommendations from Ombudsman No. 683/2019 related to the “Agron Hasanaj case against the Kosovo Police Inspectorate”.

According to him, various violations in IPK management are found, and among other things, Kelmendi's dismissal is recommended.

Regarding Svechla's claims, Miradie Kelmendi says he wasn't in charge of the IPK at the time.
