Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Gazmend Bytyci, who has also been a member of the KLA, has said at a media conference that the statements of Skelzen Gashi, outgoing Prime Minister Albin Kurti's adviser are unacceptable and that his party has made a decision to restore the draft law to protect the war values of the Kosovo Liberation Army. The bill, which we could not adopt as a result of the parliamentary legislature's premature and unforeseen interruption, Bytyci told the media.
Deputy Gazmend Bytyci's full statement:
This is just the next attempt of this political force to denigrate Kosovo's glorious climate war and its soldiers. A few weeks ago we heard Kurt at the dismissal hearing he called veterans mercenaries since the state cared for them, Bytyci said. He said the Parliamentary Group The PDK will demand that the Parliament adopt the law on the protection of KLA war values very soon. The aim of this bill is to make institutionally binding the protection, respect and promotion of the Kosovo Liberation Army values as one of the most glorious chapters of our people's history”, Bytyci said. Deputy Gazmend Bytyci's full statement: Honored media representatives, dear citizens of the Republic of Kosovo I am here today at this press conference organised by the Democratic Party, not only as the deputy of this party in the Kosovo Assembly, but also as one of the KLA soldiers. With concern we have followed the low language and scandalous claims of outgoing Prime Minister Albin Kurti's political adviser. Last night's statement by Kurt's associate, Shkelzen Gashi, was intended to collusion all opposing political figures and manipulate history. In his words he attacked the most sacred part of the nation, the Kosovo Liberation Army war. It is no coincidence of Dick Marty's legalisation, and the grave charges against Gashi's KLA made from yesterday have caught the first pages of Serbian media. This is part of Belgrade's tendency to hide the genocide he has committed in Kosovo and to equate the gelatin in the world's eyes with the victim. We believe that Gashi's statement is neither an accident nor an accident. Until we have this statement distance, we believe that its positions are an integral part of the leadership beliefs of the Vetevendosje Movement. This is only the next attempt by this political force to denigrate Kosovo's glorious climate war and its soldiers. We've heard Kurt at the dismissal hearing calling veterans mercenaries since the state cared for them. We heard Vetevendosje Vice-chairman Kolcak make spokespersons for the Serb malicious media, viewing war criminals as KLA fighters. We also heard the MP and Victory Chiefs member Pacolli violate the mother of two Haradinaj heroes. Moreover, we have heard statements by top officials of this party that comply with Belgrade's anti-Kosovo interests. Such were the announcement of the north split by Deputy Prime Minister Abazi. That Minister Reka's proposal to meet Serbia's century-old aspirations to have a corridor offering out in Durres. Since the accession by Minister of the Year's entry and action in Kosovo to hundreds of Serbia's officials, as well as acceptance of the 1,000-test charity. Yesterday, on the Security Council, former Milosevic's spokeswoman, Ivica Dacic praised Serbia's humanity with the delivery of tests. The same day Kurt's adviser praised Dick Marty and tarnished the Albanian liberation war. This banned government, on the one hand, has managed to restore a part of Kosovo under Serbia's control by allowing for the empowering of parallel structures and the extent there of the state of emergency imposed by Belgrade. On the other hand, he has seriously damaged relations with our strategic ally by orchestrating the lynching campaign for the highest American representatives and even causing this friendly country to impose sanctions on the most pro-American people in the world. Under such circumstances the Democratic Party of Kosovo will immediately restore the draft war values defence bill that the Kosovo Liberation Army. This bill, which we could not approve of as a result of the premature and unforeseen interruption of the parliamentary legislature. The purpose of this bill is to make institutionally binding on the protection, respect and promotion of the Kosovo Liberation Army's war values as one of the most glorious chapters of our people's history. With this initiative we can honour the sacrifice, effort and valuable contribution of Kosovo Liberation Army fighters”
