The World Health Organization has called for relief from the measures many countries are making.
O BSH raises concern that such an action can bring about a resurrection of the virus, while many countries have begun plans to exit quarantine.
This is not the time to be careless, but we must be careful and prepared for a new lifestyle”, Dr. Takeshi Kasai, O regional director BSH for the Western Pacific.
He added that governments must be vigilant and prevent the spread of the virus, as well as halt the rapid removal of quarantine or social distance, acting gradually to maintain a balance between the safety of population health and the functioning of the economy.
“While we're going through a difficult situation, our lives and our health system should be in the function of stopping the spread of the disease, adapting and evolved through the pandemic situation, at least until the vaccine is found. This process will be our new normal” Cassai said.
His warning came when Germany began returning to stores a month after the closure.
