Alcohol consumption does not kill the COVID-19 virus, the World Health Organisation (OBSH) said on Tuesday in an effort to fight false news.
“Frica and dezinforms have created a dangerous myth that alcohol consumption can kill COVID-19 virus. He doesn't do that,” writes O BSH for Europe.
“Alcohol consumption poses health risks, but alcohol consumption with high strength (ethanol) may have serious health consequences, including death,” adds O BSH.
Instead, O The BSH urged governments to implement measures restricting alcohol consumption, especially in quarantine countries.
