Outgoing Minister of Finance and Transfers Besnik Bislimi has cleared Paco's points. Through which you benefit the most endangered part of the country.
Bislimi said within one year Kosovo's economy could stabilise.
There are four points where the most endangered groups can benefit. Point 1.1 is about social schemes. It benefits 98 thousand citizens. We've doubled their monthly payments for the next three months. In June, if the situation stabilises, it will still be an increase in monthly payments by 2025 per cent, as we assess they are extremely small”, Bislim said.
The next aid point for the most affected involves pension schemes.
“Pika 1.2 concerns retirement schemes, monthly retirement of those less than 100 euros a month. We've seen additional monthly payments for 30 euros for three months, have been allocated 13m euros for this, and 165 thousand people benefit from the scheme. Then there is the 1.9 point dealing with marginalised groups, such as Roma, Egyptian and Ashkali communities. We will help you with food packages and others, but there may be other groups that need, like the Bosniak community in northern Kosovo, for example”.
The fourth point of direct assistance for citizens is for those working from time to time.
We've been trying to involve employees who work in a sporadical way and now because of the situation we're in. It benefits 130 euros a month. If after three months they have other incomes, they're going to point to 1.1 of the social scheme”. He added Bislimi to “Descu”.
He has said that this crisis has few, many losers, but that is Kosovo's ability.
“We helped the private sector because of the decline in activity. The private sector has obstacles to pay coverage, so we've secured minimum wage for workers, then paying 50 percent of business rents, tax obligations we've postponed until September. I owe for sure macroeconomic stability”, he said.
“Brent 12 months the economy can return and stabilise”, he said.
