Acting Minister of Finance and Transfers Besnik Bislimi, with the goal of implementing the Government of the Republic of Kosovo's decision to take additional measures after confirming positive cases with Corona Virus COVID 19, has made a decision to extend until 30 June the deadline for paying taxes.
According to the ministry's survey, up to 30 laughter states the three-month deadline for tax and contributions for large individual businesses, three-month tax mirrors and contributions to small individual businesses; after three-month advance payment for the Great Corporation; and the three-month pre-paid mirror for the Small Corporation.
Despite the point 1 of this decision, the deadline for tax statements under 1 of this decision remains until April 30, 2020, and is in line with tax legislation in effect. This decision will apply to all taxpayers who under tax legislation are obliged to declare and pay for these types of taxes. Taxpayers who are in financial trouble because of the pandemic can apply for payment deals with installments, and based on the submitted evidence, the Kosovo Tax Administration can enable such a form of payment for these types of taxes by enshrining itself the right to have the measure done after the end of the measures in power and to verify each case. For all other types of tax deadlines for declaration and payment ends by April 30th 2020, according to the No. 26/2020 of the 1903.2020, of the Ministry of Finance and Transference”, it is said at the poll.
