New attacks on the VV, is this party breaking up again?

Disgusting within Vetevendosje seems to still have erupted at the high levels of this party. A silent fight between what is being called the old guard and the new lines lined up around Albin Kurt and Haki Abbas are the first signs of disappointment that this party is leading to a division [...]
Vetevendosje movement is repeating the history of 2018, when some of its founders, deputies and officials of this party, after a series of disagreements with Albin Kurti, had left the party.
The frustrations of that time had lasted over a year. They appeared in December 2017 after a communication was published in Viber and had resulted in 13 deputies and dozens of VV activists leaving, who later became part of the PSD of Sosa Jashar.
Periscop sources within the VV show that current frustrations have again erupted at the high levels of this party. The cause of this appears to be the disagreement of what is known as the “Old Guard” of this party, with the power space given to new actions in this party, which were quite numerous on the eve of the October 6th election. But disappointments seem to have been further deepened by incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti's recent actions, in relation to the LDK and his behaviour faced pressure from the United States of America over the tax on Serbian goods.
According to our source, the situation makes it more serious that among those that last days have come up against Kurt is Glauk Konjufca, the current foreign minister, and the most voted VV after Kurt in the last elections. As well as Albulen Haxhiu, Justice Minister and the most voted woman in this party on October 6th.
Some of the party fans, whom Kurti had promoted for weeks to his personal Facebook account, have already received different positions in institutions. From their standings to positions, it had mostly drawn attention as Haki Abbas' deputy prime minister, who had adopted a little ahead of the VV elections, but that in the past it had been highly critical of this party and even accused Kurti's party of having died of activist Astrit Dehari.
Kurt's decision to appoint a second man to the government, Abbas, had been strongly opposed by Konjufca and then Haxhiu, both of whom had held high ministerial positions. But this was because Konjufca of Haxhiu had estimated that this position would have to be kept by any of the figures from the so-called “Old Guard”, who, according to them, were more reliable and more creditable people.
However, Kurti had ignored these controversy, with Cçrast Abazi appointed deputy prime minister, and has been the figure of the executive with the largest presence in the media. Even in this regard, according to Periscope sources, at a VV leadership meeting, there had been complaints by Albulen Haxhiu, who had troubled Abaz' media presentations, which in many cases were done without even coordinating with responsible VV media officials.
At the same meeting, Konjufca had asked Kurti to consider staying around taxing Serbian goods, as in addition to continued American pressure, the LDK had warned from the coalition. Kurti had flatly rejected this, what had further deepened problems with the LDK, which led to Agim Veliu's dismissal and later to the motion that brought down his government.
Periscop sources show that on the day of Veliu's dismissal, Konjufca and Haxhiu had met Kurti, expressing once again disappointment over the move. And as a result of this meeting, Albulen Hadziu had not attended the session when the motion was voted. Conjufca, on the other hand, had suggested to Kurt that in his appearances in the media, he would express his differences with him regarding recent developments.
In recent days, this has been seen on several occasions, reports Periscope.
Konjufca in the “Rubikon” of Kosovo had removed “red lines” for coalition as well as PDK. Such statements shortly thereafter went against Kurti, who in “Debat Plus” of RTV Dukagjin, stated flatly against a coalition with Kadri Wessel's party.
The last case, on the other hand, is related to statements by Kurti's adviser, Shkelzen Gashi, concerning the KLA, which caused much fuss and caused numerous reactions. On the same day that Gashi had committed crimes against Serb civilians and praised Dick Marty, Conjufca at “Debat Plus” RTV Dukagjin, expressed deep incompatibility with Gashi. He even stated that if he were in Kurti's place, Gashi would have no place in his cabinet.
Kurti the next day relieved his adviser, Gashi, but in his Facebook status, he did not express distance from the content of his statements.
And after this action by Kurt, friends of Kurt and his fellow adviser, Agon Hamza, publicly addressed criticism of Konjufca's stance. Rron Djindovci, a supporter of Kurti during the campaign and after it, through an article in the Express Journal, criticised Konjufca's stance against Gashi and even asked him questions that “whom he is serving?”. Similar reactions were made by Sead Zimmer, who in his social networking post accuses Conjufe of hysterizing public opinion against Gashi, and who, according to him, cause harm to VVA.
We remember that at the height of the VV crisis in 2018, there had been such reactions, which were then described as orchestrated by Kurti. At that world, Yusuf Thaci, now appointed deputy minister by Kurti, had published a public letter on the quality of VV '%s' supporter, accusing VV-based Dardan Moliqaj, the former organising secretary of the party.
In the same TV presentation of Konjufca, in his recent interview at RTV Dukagujini, Konjufca also went against Kurt's statements given in an interview blaming the US for his government's collapse.
“We can say that President Trump's emissary is not satisfied with reciprocity, but I cannot say that the United States of America, as a state, has toppled the Kosovo government. It's a mistake”, Conjufca stated, expressing itself against what Kurt had stated just a few days earlier.
In 2018, there had been similar presentations by Dardan Molliq, where he had begun publicly expressing his differences with Kurt, which were never exceeded. Such presentations had even deteriorated reports between Kurt and Kurt and the VV crisis had only deepened.
It should also be stressed that, in contrast with other parties in Kosovo, the VV has shown that it has airtight to keep problems long away from public eyes. Now, however, the impact seems to be more dynamic, and the crisis is developing at a more accelerated pace.
Periscop will keep you informed about further developments.
