American amasada vs. Kurt: Reciprocity hurts Kosovo citizens economically

The embassy of the United States of America in Kosovo lets them know their position following Kosovo's move of reciprocity towards Serbia.

From the embassy, they say the US was clear that Kosovo should lift all tariffs and not create new barriers.

Because these policies hurt the people of Kosovo and choke Kosovo's own economy. We remain contrary to the recent action to implement reciprocity measures against the flow of goods from Serbia”.

“These measures create more problems at the time when the United States believes that the airline, rail, and highway agreements reached between the two sides will increase economic development when they are implemented, and will create the necessary conditions for successful dialogue”, said the embassy statement.
