Albania's number of Coronavirus affected goes to 766

Sixteen new cases have been confirmed 24 hours.

Dr. Eugene Tomini of the Public Health Institute gave details:

As every day, we let you know the results of the last 24 hours in the investigation and epidemiological investigation and the current situation of COVID-19.

In the last 24 hours, 270 suspects have been tested with COVID-19.
Of the test results have been confirmed 16 positive cases with COVID19, out of which 9 cases are in Tirana, 5 cases in Kruja, 1 case in Shkodra and 1 in Berat.

By these moments 8028 suspected cases have been tested, and 766 cases are confirmed positive with COVID-19.
During the past 24 hours, another 24 patients have been added to the list of cures, bringing the total healing from COVID-19 to 455.

Of the 281 patients active with COVIDD19 in our country, only 10 %s are being treated in two COVID hospitals, while about 90% of them are in low self-impression or are free of symptoms and monitored in systematic manner by the family doctor.

So far, 30 citizens have lost their battle with this disease, despite medical staff efforts.

We're informing you that there's 27 of them at the current effective service. Six patients are in intensive therapy.

In the total of those laid down at the infectious hospital, there are three cases imported by KFOR Albanian soldiers from Kosovo.

At COVIDD 2 “Chiefs Rudoku”, six patients down. 2 patients are in more severe therapy.
In the two hospitals, COVIED are currently receiving service from 33 patients.

The map of those affected by COVID-19 expands to Tirana, Kruje Shkodra and Berat.

Despite daily data fluctuations, the situation continues to be controlled.
In this regard, there are a steady number of hospital facilities and the low number of patients who have needed direct breathing.
For this situation to continue to be controlled and in terms of easing certain measures, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection urges all citizens to continue to respect the established measures, respect physical distance and maintain personal hygiene.
Such measures should be respected objectively even within family circles, avoiding visits to relatives for any kind of reason.
