The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo through an open press conference has proposed that the Kosovo government separate from 100 euros for each citizen of Kosovo to overcome the crisis caused by the Pandemia Covid-19.
AAK MP Gazmend Abashi has said that Kosovo citizens should feel the hand of the state as never before.
As never before, any citizen should feel the hand of the state. We as AAK propose as immediate support the 100-euro split for each citizen of Kosovo. Applying this decision would have to be made through birth extracts. These help to support each family, and at the same time they also increase consumption, which directly affects the collection of money in the state's box”, Abrashi said.
Abrashi has said that according to the AAK's first estimates, all of this would cost around 170m euros.
He has also proposed other measures to deal with the crisis.
“Must intervene in capital investments, to wait for more convenient times for these times. Public debt is the lowest in the region. So the growth of this debt should also be paid as opportunities for the support of people and the economy. The emergency package shared by the Kosovo government is insufficient. The situation calls for faster reaction. The damage can be huge if it is not immediately reacted to”, he said.
Also, Abrashi has said that besides the above-mentioned decisions, a special task force must be created that will deal with private sector protection and workplaces from the pandemic crisis.
Must create a task force to preserve the private sector and jobs from the pandemic crisis. These tools are necessary, as the diaspora remittances are expected. Must change T VVR, and the same get paid after selling the product, not advance. We as AAK see it necessary to address the measures that must be taken, to protect private sector and public workers, as well as thousands of active businesses that today face great difficulties”, he stressed.
According to him, any late intervention will not have the same effect as it is now.
