Avni Rustemi died after an assassination in Tirana. It takes place on April 20th near the New Bazaar, but dies two days later, April 22, 1924.
He was born in Lisbon, in a home family. His father was the Shesha of the Arslan-Dillin family, the chimney of Libohova.
His first instruction was learned in his homeland, then continued the Normal of Elbasan, and then St. Myster Corone College in Italy, and his higher education at the University of Rome began.
In 1908 he abandoned the school banks to join the Cherchiz Toullis Cerelet. In 1910 he attempted to kill in Shkodra the commander of the Ottoman military expedition, General Shefqet Turgut saw. In 1914 it was listed in Albanian forces for the liberation of southern Albania by the conquest of Greek forces.
During his event, in 1910, he worked as a teacher in Libohevo, in the Vlora Trajsa in 1913, and in Tepelene and Vlora in 1916-1918. At his initiative in 1918, the national youth society was formed in Vlora, dubbed “The Fire of Vlora”, and at its helm organised the November 28, 1918 demonstration against Italian invaders.
In the spring of 1919 in St. Mitter created “Albania's Youth Link” for the protection of national rights, and on June 13, 1920, killed on assassinations in Paris, Esat Pasha Toptan.
Renowned French newspaper “Le Meiroir”, on June 20, 1920, published an unknown photograph to date of Avni Rustem.
In this picture, he is seen being tortured equally by French police after carrying out the assassinations against Esat Papa Toptan in Paris. However, Avni Rrustemi was released after just six months.
With Avni Rustem restored to Albania, his political activity comes on the rise. It was, in December 1920, that he began working to unify existing democratic societies in a single organisation. The convention, held on April 25, 1921, in Vlora, established a society that came to be named federation “thelandu”. Her honorary chairman was elected Avni Rustemi.
At his initiative, professional teachers' organisations were created. After the closure of the federation “Atlandu”, in August 1922, again at the initiative of Avni Rustem, on 13 October 1922 democratic society “Bashim” was established in Tirana.
Avni Rustemi was not only the main organiser of democratic societies but also one of the most prominent democratic ideas. The country's exit from its backlog, Avni Rustemi, looked at the development of independent national economy. Without economic independence, he writes, he cannot have political independence”.
His democratic and revolutionary ideas were expressed at the 1924 Constitutional Assembly, where he was elected deputy by the people of the former Kosovo government. He courageously criticised the abuses of the time bureaucratic device, the phidony and ignorance of the ruling reactions classes, and strongly defended the traditions of our people and the rights of Albanians living on their own lands in Yugoslavia.
In terms of stiffening the country's class and political contradictions by people imposed by the government at the time, it takes place on April 20, 1924, near the New Pazar in Tirana, where it dies two days later just on April 22, 1924. The MP's murder served as the spark of the Movement, which triumphed on June 10, 1924.
