Wessel and Thaci meet tomorrow at 11:00 tomorrow.

Democratic Party of Kosovo leader (PDK), Kadri Veseli, will respond positively to President Hashim Thaci's invitation to consultative meetings regarding the possibility of forming the government.

Mr. Wessel will respond positively to the president's invitation and will participate in the consultative meetings he organises, which have come as a result of passing the no-confidence motion on the government at last session. He said that chairman of The PDK will go to the meeting with the president, but there is no political requirement.

“Vessel has no political demand, especially under these circumstances. Mr. Wessel has made it clear earlier that his position is morearly oriented by the pandemic and the economic problems the country is facing. As for political issues, I think it's the last or the wrong moment to become politics under these circumstances. However, the president of the country has invited him, and Wessel will surely respond to the invitation”, Bytyci said.

According to Bytyci, The PDK will by no means initiate the formation of any new government.

“We are currently analyzing the situation, one thing can also confirm that the PDK is an opposition party and will remain such and will not initiate in any form forming any new government”, he indicated.

According to him, in this situation the best solution would be the elections, but this is being impossible because of Coronavirus' pandemic.

“The PDK said even earlier, the best solution to these circumstances when a government falls because of legitimacy, of course, would be elections, but the current circumstances would also be to confront the pandemic as it seems to be able to afford this” situation.

“To The PDK would be the best option, but these circumstances should be seen what the best solution will be for the citizens of the country, especially for the economy that really risks collapse because of the circumstances that have created”, he said.

Bytyci further said the PDK is ready to discuss with all other parties to find a suitable way out after crossing the pandemic, EO reports.

“The PDK, so far has not given any opinion on this issue, even we cannot propose without consulting other parties. When such a situation develops, it is good for all political parties to give their opinions, and here things have to be put together”.

“A party cannot determine or dedicate where it should go under these circumstances. The PDK is willing to sit down with all other parties to discuss the best, most appropriate way out, and especially when the pandemic” passes, Bytyci said.

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci will meet VV leader Albin Kurti on Wednesday at 10:00.

Following the motion to oust the Kurti Government, President Thaci had warned he would hold consultative meetings with leaders of political parties in the country for the possibility of forming the new government.
