At the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo and in the seven general hospitals of Kosovo, there are a total of 63 respirators that can be used in case of serious cases from the Coronavirus. Respirators are used to filter air from polluting to patients affected by serious diseases.
Director of Anesthesia Clinic and Intensive Central Medicine Dr. Nehat Baftiu. He has said anesthesiologists are the only professionals who can work with respirators.
Only anesthesiologists can work with respirators, but until now, no mobilization has been required from our clinic”, Baftiu declared.
He told Schneta Journal that with the arrangements being made for the possible coronary situation, the respirators would have to be sent to quarantine centers where patients would lie.
Baftiu has shown that only at QKUK currently are over 25 respirators in use, while 6 soos are currently at the Infective Clinic.
