Vuciq: No full tax removal has continued dialog

He says dialogue with Kosovo can continue only after the full removal of the 100 per cent move imposed by the former Haradinaj government in November 2018.

After meeting in Washington with Matthew Palmer, President Vuciq, said the United States' special envoy for the Western Balkans is likely to lift the full tax imposed on Serbian goods.

“Palmer agrees with Ambassador Richard Green that the tariffs must be completely removed. There are no substantial discussions with Pristina and it will not happen until they lift the tariffs. We can talk about nothing, we can meet, but there's no essential discussion on the big issues”, it's Vuciq, who is visiting the US.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has forgotten that on March 15th he will remove the tax on raw materials from Bosnia and Serbia.

“If the Serbian side proves true devotion in this friendly campaign, then starting April 1st 2020, it will completely remove the fee for a 90-day period. If Serbia ignores Kosovo's stance and does not start removing barriers, with the start of April 1st, the implementation of reciprocity will start, once in the area of trade and then in the field of the economy. If the Serbian side does not reflect after a 90-day period for the removal of the fee for first class, then the Government from June 15th will return the fee until the implementation of reciprocity”, Kurti has indicated.
