It has also been marked the first victim in New York, the United States.
Authorities there suggest that the victim is an 82-year-old who passed away in a New York hospital after being touched by Covid19 and also suffered from other diseases.
At least 2658, affected by Covid 19, are counted in the US, while 50 victims have so far been identified.
Coronavius has been declared pandemic by the World Health Organization. In Europe, meanwhile, the most affected state is Italy, which has scored thousands of victims.
This comes after a day earlier, the House of Representatives urgently adopted a two-party law, envisioning relief measures against coronavirus. The vote in Congress took place just hours after President Trump announced new plans to cope with the crisis.
The law, which was adopted without debate, provides funds for the sick, paid family permits, insurance for those who will lose jobs, as well as food aid programs.
Free testing of coronary tests for every American, whether they have health insurance, is also forecast.
