Representatives of the SBASK, FSSHK, SPK, the Fire and Customs Union, through a media communique have announced they have held a joint meeting by debating the situation in these sectors after the distributed news that means may not have been envisioned in the Budget Law for the implementation of the Law of Pays.
They have stated that the situation in the sectors they represent has been exacerbated and that membership requirements have begun to increase so that preparations can be made to begin even with union action if the Ministry of Finance and Prime Minister do not provide evidence that budgetary planning for the wage law has been made.
“Facing this situation, representatives of the FSHK, SPK, fire and Customs union have jointly decided to address Prime Minister Kurti for an emergency meeting and at the nearest moment likely to debate the issue. At the meeting with Prime Minister Kurti, representatives of these five unions will ask him to extend the Government's plan to increase the welfare of workers in the Republic of Kosovo if the wage law drags on further”, it is said in their community of media.
