Just as it has been warned for days, today the manifesto, called by Albania's president, Ilir Meta, will be held in defense of the Constitution on what he describes as coup.
This gathering is designed to begin at 5:00, to proceed with a parade along the town's Witnesses, where citizens will move towards the institutions.
In a public release to the media yesterday, the head of the Albanian state appealed to citizens who will participate in the manifestation, only to come with red flags, mimosa flowers as spring is coming and two calls “E we want Albania as a whole of Europe” and “Liri, Democracy”. Meta also pointed out that this manifesto will be peaceful.
“Tomorrow has only one thing of importance protests and manifestations to be as peaceful, only with red flags, with mimosa as spring and calls are coming. We want Albania as a whole of Europe, and freedom of democracy. Tomorrow, March 2nd, I'm waiting for you all there.
