President Thaci's political adviser, Adil Behraj, has reacted to the German expert Bodo Weber's interview, which today indirectly attacked President Thaci and Ambassador Green.
Thaci's adviser has said the president has praised Brussels' negotiations because he was a protagonist himself, but the EU full of a decade was unable to give them a final epilogue and therefore is demanding US involvement in the process.
Behramaj has said that Kosovo, which 12 years old is a state and the EU has not been able to convince even its five non-recognitional states to recognise Kosovo, that it leaves Serbia.
According to him, a dialogue without recognition from Serbia, with this EU unable to fulfil either its promises and unjustly still keeps us isolated, for Kosovo there is no more meaning.
“Just as much damage to Kosovo as it does to a government that can produce only political tensions and public shows, but I don't know how to government, as they are doing to some European forces, that fit the Status Quo in the region, and through their analysts are confusing our citizens”, Behramaj wrote.
German “Expert Bodo Weber, with his expertise in the style “if I am not mistaken”, has said President Thaci has declared the negotiations run by Brussels to be dead”, he underlined.
“actually, the president has praised Brussels' negotiations because he himself was protagonist. But since the EU was unable to provide them with a full decade of final epilogue, the president is demanding US involvement in this process, without which the EU, which is no longer able to do anything. Kosovo, which 12 years is a state and the EU has not been able to convince even its five non-recognitional states to recognise Kosovo, that it leaves Serbia. And, a dialogue without recognition from Serbia, with this EU unable to fulfil its promises and unjustly still keeps us isolated, for Kosovo there is no more meaning. Whether for the EU, for any of its own state or any of our politicians it is important to buy time, it is important for Kosovo not to waste any more time. Even this partial policy of lifting the fee is only enough to buy time, in a line with the EU, in an effort to delay the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, with the US as sponsors and guarantors of it”, has written Behrahaj.
