Thaci: Kurt set up the meeting and didn't show up, we got time to lose.

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has spoken of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's refusal to attend the meeting, invited by the president with political and institutional leaders, with the aim of informing, consulting and co-ordinating on issues of state interest.

Thaci said Kurti has confirmed the meeting with him since Friday, and five minutes before the start of the meeting he has cancelled. The president said that even the time of the meeting was set by Kurt.

The president said, however, that he is willing to meet Kurt, whenever he thinks he is in the country's interest, but added that Kosovo has no time to lose, or cut anyone's whims.

“has been scheduled to meet with Kosovo Government Prime Minister and leader Albin Kurti. Unfortunately, even though the meeting was confirmed by his office from Friday at noon today at 1: 00 p.m., since my invitation was to have the meeting taken place around 8:30, 9:30 or 9:30, that it would be the first meeting with political leaders, but at his request the meeting was scheduled to happen at 1: 00 p.m. but unfortunately five minutes before this meeting was cancelled by Prime Minister Kurti's office. I'll meet him whenever you think it's interesting to meet. But Kosovo has no time to lose and wait for anyone's whims or roots. Kosovo needs political, civic institutional unity to achieve successes. When we were together, we had successes. No one on their own can realise civic prospects”, Thaci said. /Periscopi/
