The municipality says March 7 should be understood as a day of reflection on the recorded shortcomings.
The Teacher's Day must be understood as a day of reflection for shortcomings recorded in the educational and educational process, but also as a moment of appreciation for the results achieved”, the Pristina municipality's letter says.
The letter also says that teachers in the past have been equipped with various gifts from students, charging the child's parents' modest budget for 7 March and 8 March. Today, though, accepting gifts from children is ethical and forbidden.
In the past, these two important dates have more been perceived as days when teachers of all pre-university education levels, especially teachers and teachers of 0 and 1 are equipped with various gifts from students, as well as the very modest budget of our children's parents”.
“The Pristina Community Education Director invites all parents not to invest in various gifts except flowers, and warns school principals that the children's gift-taking phenomenon is ethical and banned”, the Komuna letter says.
The Pristina municipality's Education Directorate promised it would engage with all potential for creating additional value in education.
