The Spanish Senate just ratified Pratokol for Macedonia's NATO membership, with 0 votes against. I thank the Spanish Senate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which despite the current situation, has put protocol in order. Spain will now deposit to the State Department in Washington the ratification instrument where NATO will be informed of where we expect to be informed and where we will have to send our protocol Rifex1>-pooi instrument, among other things Dimitrov.
Spanish Ambassador to our country Lorenzo Sorka apologised for the delay in the adoption by placing the main reason for the postponement, elections and formation of the Spanish government. “Sic said the minister, Spain is going through a difficult time, the Senate has done something that is new, remote voting, by video, respectively. Spain's delayed Ratification is due to the circumstances that were created after our April elections were repeated in November, and this presented the problem”, among other things, Ambassador Sorka. The protocol, on February 27th, received green light from the lower house of the Spanish Parliament. Spain is the last country by NATO members to ratify the Protocol. The protocol to us, however, was ratified with the postponement of the action, due to the distribution of the Parliament and early parliamentary elections.
