Spain, like Italy, will use the army to help transport lifeless troops from the Coronavirus, the Spanish Ministry of Health said, after the country registered its highest death toll in one day.
The Spanish” Army will have to intervene because of a crushing number of victims and the insufficientness of funeral services”, according to a statement published in the country's Official Journal.
”Masa came as Spain registered its highest death rate in one day during the Corleone pandemic of 832 new deaths reported in the past 24 hours”, this minister said.
Spain has the second highest death rate in the world after Italy.
Last week, the Spanish Parliament approved the extension of austerity measures for another two weeks until 11 April.
Madrid remains the most seriously affected region, representing almost half of all deaths in the country.
