The beginning of March of this year marks 22 years of the Jarsara's glorious war with Serbia's police and military forces. On March 5th 1998, over 5 thousand Serbian police and soldiers landed in the Jashart district of Prekaz to start fighting the legendary KLA commander, Adem Jashar, with his family and other Jashars, writes the newspaper “Zri”.
After three days of uneven war, Serbia also used heavy artillery, heroicly the legendary commander of Adem Yasar's KLA, with 20 members of his family, as well as 36 other Jashars, men, women and children. Only the daughter of Hamza Yasar, Bessarta, who was then 11 years old, had survived.
