The meeting of directors of educational and health institutions in Kosovo has ended.
After the meeting, Education Minister Hykmete Bajrami has said there will be no interruptions of instruction in Kosovo schools due to corruption.
She said they have taken appropriate preventative measures and has called on municipal directors to implement them.
“As the minister we have made an action plan for directors what we should do, we have communicated earlier, according to I recommendations. The KPS is implementing preventative measures such as polluting spaces in all schools and providing sanitation. This has been a plan for making preventative measures”.
According to her, there is no room for panic until she adds that the situation is serious and must all take steps.
There is no space for panic, but the situation is serious and must all take preventative measures. We need to increase awareness among citizens regarding hygiene so that we do not have opportunities. So far we have no confirmed case. Since we don't have a recommendation from the Public Health Institute and the Ministry of Health, we call on students, teachers and parents to develop in normal conditions by stressing the need for hygiene and by asking all municipalities in the ks and municipal directors to be careful to add to all Kosovo schools”.
