Ramush Tahiri describes the US-designed draft agreement that Periscopi published yesterday as very good

Periscope has published last night the draft agreement that has been presented to the country's president Hashim Thaci and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciqi at the White House.

Developing and sponsoring this draft agreement from the US, political affairs analyst Ramush Tahiri is seeing as acceptable and very good issues.

The “Draft agreement between Kosovo and Serbia on normalisation of the sponsored and proposed US relations taking into account its commitment to Kosovo independence is a very good and acceptable issue, even with the fact that the parties voluntarily adhere to the signatures, and this agreement ratifys it in the Kosovo Assembly and in the Assembly of Serbia”, Tahiri has said of Periscope.

Tahiri has also commented on options which the two countries' presidents have proposed for agreement: overhauling borders or Association Plus, saying it is up to the Kosovo Assembly to decide on one of these two options.

A form of frozen conflict, which since 1999, when Kosovo was finally freed and entered under international administration, is continuing between Serbia and Kosovo, which is unstable and can slip into instability and conflict. Only a solution of mutual agreement and recognition would benefit peace and stability in the region and the membership of these two states simultaneously in the European Union.
