Protesters in “Government deadlines up to Friday or launch violent protests

Tens of citizens have continued to protest today prior to the introduction of the “Trepca” management facility in Mitrovica, in symbol of dissatisfaction with the latest employment process in the company.

Protesters have given the government until Friday to cancel the competition and dismiss management, on the contrary, warned the scene of the situation.

Arsim Musa, from the protest council, has indicated to Kosova Prees that protesters will give the government deadline by Friday to dismiss the company's management “Trepca” and cancel the competition.

According to him, if this does not happen, the protest could run into violence, which would be the responsibility of manager Baasha Ibrahim.

This government will give them until Friday to cancel this competition and that management be downloaded. Otherwise, the measures could be radical, and none of us take responsibility for whatever happens. [...] It can be escalated in violence, after car break, property damage, people get hurt, and responsibility falls to the current manager”, Musa said.
