Prisoners in Lipjan begin producing surgical masks

Under the implementation of the operational plan “Corona Virus” with the aim of protecting prisoners and Kosovo Corresponsive Service employees from Pandemia “Cavid-19”, inmates at the QKFL have begun producing surgical masks.

With the recommendation of professional doctors to produce surgical masks, material in which microorganisms do not penetrate is being used, after calculating the cost produced, these masks cost only 0.10 cents per piece.

Kosovo's corrective service through this product is aimed at reducing economic spending on surgical masks and increasing the level of prevention from the pandemic “Cavid -19” through all corrective institutions.

Masks produced by QKLF inmates will initially be used for the needs of all corrective and detention institutions, and if necessary for other state institutions.
