The Kosovo government has made a decision to apply 11 safeguard clauses to the coronary, after the World Health Organisation declared the pandemic.
The eleventh measure says that persons who do not respect and violate the recommendations will be punished in line with legislation in force.
According to the Kosovo Penal Code, the sentence is issued for all those who do not respect the decisions made by relevant health-related institutions during the time of the outbreak, writes insander.
Article 250 of the Kosovo Criminal Code envisions sentences of up to two years for those who do not respect government decisions.
“Nini 250. Disaction according to health provisions during the epidemic. Anyone who during the time of plague or of any infectious disease does not act according to orders or other decisions issued under the provisions of the competent body, which sets measures aimed at fighting or preventing them, is sentenced to prison until two (2)x1>, says the Kosovo Criminal Code.
