President Thaci shares command “

President Thaci has said he is in Prizren today to honour the martyrs caught in the war for freedom, for liberation, independence and national union in the Pacific Operative Zone.

“The sacrifice of the freedoms, disabled, war veterans and martyrs families today has been institutionalised, today it is state value that keeps the state strong, unique, stable and secure in the future, said President Thaci.

Although with modest means, the head of state stressed that all those Kosovo boys and girls fought with great spirit and determination and achieved what we had only dreamed of.

We believed in justice, in our war, in our sacrifice and in Western values, so we won. And we must always remember this victory. We should always respect that sacrifice”, he added.

In line with constitutional competencies, President Thaci has decorated the 66 martyrs of the 125 Brigade with the “Hero order of Kosovo”.
